The Brewery – Making progress
At the end of 2017, having only been operating commercially for 10 months, and due to tremendous local support, Battle Brewery scaled up production to a 7 BBL (10 hl) timber clad brew house installed at our farm location in the heart of 1066 country.
Our new kit brings a history of it’s own, having been previously owned by the popular WJ King (King & Barnes) Brewery of Horsham.
As a result our shiny little stainless steel startup kit is taking a break from it’s exhausting brew schedule and has been given the very important job of producing our small batch special beers and pilot brews.
Our core range of regionally inspired beers are currently supplied in cask (9gal firkin, 4.5gal pin), or bottled by hand in 500ml and 330ml bottles.
All of our spent grain is enjoyed by cattle and pigs on local farms, and our waste hops used for compost.
